Notes

A record of all the Dartford charities. The first part is An abstract of all the parish writings, 1284 to 1723, by Charles Chambers, a former Vicar. The other four parts survey Benefactions to the church, Benefactions and donations to the poor, The foundation of, and benefactions to, the alms-houses and The foundation of, and benefactions to, the Grammar-School. The three fine hand coloured plans show in detail the estates belonging to the parish (A and B) and the Allotments and Exchanges made to Dartford churchwardens, reduced from the original plans made by William Hubbard, land surveyor in 1826. A scarce original copy.
