A little wear to extremities and slight sunning; otherwise a very good copy Illustrated by 9 plates, including frontispiece and by music. Decorated by title page and tailpiece vignettes. Pictorial endpapers. The words and music of thirty four carols. Thomas Tertius (1867-1953), composer, served as organist and choirmaster at York Minster, 1898-1913, after which he moved to the USA to continue his work. Plates by Helen Sewell (1867-1957), US illustrator and writer of children's books.
