Notes
The St. George's Club, later Royal St. George's, was founded in 1887, so that this account from the Club's club and ball manufacturer and supplier of the 1890s, dates back to its very early days. The surviving sheet from what appears to be an invoice used to record cash received, contains twenty seven names from P to W only, with the amounts received from them (total carried forward from £159.16.1 to £201.4.5).
