To the committee and subscribers of the original picture, this engraving is dedicated by their obedient servant, day and son (limited)

Item Description

Monochrome print, engraved area 16.25 x 22.5 inches, in contrasting mount ready for framing.

Notes

A fine equestrian portrait of Frederick Brockman standing in an extensive landscape with Beachborough House in the background and Brockman's Mount, topped by its summerhouse, on the left and Newington Church on the right, places which are strongly connected with the Brockman Family. Originally issued in very small numbers to mark F.B.s Mastership of the East Kent Hunt, the original engraving is very rare; we have handled only two examples in 50 years.
