8vo. 7.25 x 4.75 inches). xxxii + [ii] + 284 pp. Bound in original pink cloth, gilt, in yellow dust wrapper, with sunned spine and minor edge wear. Patterned endpapers. Slight stain on front boar, but otherwise a very good copy. Decorated by publisher's device on title page. An examination of the work of the great German philosopher, Gottfried Wilhelm Leibnitz (1646-1716), first included in Everyman's Library in 1934. An examination in three parts, his philosophical system, the development of his philosophy and miscellaneous extracts from Leibnitz's philosophical writings.
