Notes
A fine example of the first issue of perhaps the most striking map of the county. The Greenwood family directly competed with the Ordnance Survey, and their maps were often distinguished by wonderful hand-colouring, which varied from extremely scarce deluxe examples to outline colouring with country house estates and main roads, as in this example. The map could also be had plain.
