Oblong 4to. 8.75 x 9.75 inches. Unpaginated [56] pp. Bound in pictorial laminated boards. A little wear to extremities and some text pages lightly soiled, but otherwise a very good copy. Illustrated by 54 colour plates one folding, with text opposite. A juvenile illustrated version of Prokokiev's Peter and the Wolf of 1936, with the text translated into Serbo-Croat or Slovenian, and published in Ljubljana. It is a symphonic composition for children using a variety of different instruments to tell a fairy tale. Apparently derived from the German edition of 1958, published in Berlin by Alfred Holz Verlag in 1958.
