Children's book with text and illustrations by numerous writers and artists, sponsored by Princess Marie-Jose of Belgium (1906-2001), daughter of King Albert, who was evacuated to England during the war and was, for a brief period in 1946, the last queen-consort of Italy before the monarchy was abolished. The aim of the book was ' to help the little Belgian babies over the sea to get milk and clothes' (letter signed by Carmel Haden Guest, the editor). The volume includes contributions by John Galsworthy, Walter de la Mare (two poems) and the four page (13-16) article, Master Anthony and The Zeppelin, written and drawn by H. G. Wells.
