Notes
The 25 inch to one mile maps (each sheet covering 1½ square miles) provide the most detailed picture of the landscape of Kent and are now very difficult to find. These three sheets show the shoreline from just west of Reculver to Minnis Bay at Birchington. All three of these sheets have only one third of the maps area containing infomation, the rest is the sea.
