Foxing of edges and scattered inside; otherwise a very good copy. Illustrated by drawings in text with frontispiece and title page and endpiece vignettes. First edition of the seventh book in the author's 'Adventure' series, with eight titles published 1944-55. With the artwork of Stuart Tresilian (1891-1974), artist and illustrator specialising in children's literature.
