Notes
The Rev. Ffinch who was the Rector of Ifield for over twenty five years wrote a paper on Salerna, a thirteen year old girl who was the subject of a miracle of St Thomas Becket which was published in the Transactions of the Dartford and District Antiquarian Society in 1934 and as a separate pamphlet. Robert Hiscock used Ffinch's manuscript notes and consulted archive material to revise and expand the original work and produce a more complete history of Ifield parish and church and Singlewell village and chapel. Most likely published privately by Hiscock and printed by Mackays of Chatham.
